Rig Les Hat awarded 2024 Jack Up Rig of the year by Shell (Worldwide Award)

Malcolm Jones, VP Wells East, Qatar Shell Service Company awarded the Les Hat team ‘Shell’s JU Rig of the Year 2024’ Worldwide award in a recognition ceremony that took place amongst Gulf Drilling International’s (GDI’s) senior leadership team members at the GDI headquarters at West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

This award serves as a much-deserved recognition of the Les Hat team’s exemplary efforts and dedication towards consistently delivering safe and efficient operations for Shell. This was achieved through hard work and collaboration with the whole team onboard the Les Hat – while maintaining a focus on safety, the environment, operational planning and asset maintenance.

A great achievement by all the onshore and offshore team members associated with the Les Hat operations.
