An operations workshop was held at GDI’s head office which included personnel from the Operations, Maintenance, Administration and Engineering Departments. 

The workshop kicked off at 8:30am with an impressive turn-out with almost 35 rig crews in attendance. The COO started the event by unveiling the agenda of the workshop, stressing the importance of improving communication and knowledge sharing between the office and rig crews. Many issues were discussed during the workshop, like crew recruitment & retention, delivery of consumable items to rig-site, safety incident reporting, life-boat launching procedure, crew Training, and several HR issues. 

Such workshops among various departments of the company are vital for keep up the understanding & communication that makes GDI a great place to work for. This is a quarterly event.
