The safety performance on all GDI fleet has been encouraging and the observations of the performance are as follows:

 Compared to year 2007, performance of the rigs for the year 2008 has been excellent with just one LTI* on Rig AL-ZUBARAH and three recordable incidents on GDI-2, GDI-4 and DSSA yard.

For the year 2009 until the end July there has been only two LTI’s on GULF-3 and Rig Al-Khor apart from one recordable incident on GULF-1.

 The safety of our crews is our top priority, it is our commitment to provide an incident and injury free work place to live up to our motto “Stronger by the Day”. Hence, the QHSE department will strive to keep up the safety performance of GDI at all times.
